Client Brief:
Applied Workplace were invited by the main contractor, Squareone Construction, to supply glass partitioning and create offices inside the Aston Martin showroom in Bristol. The brief was to ensure the glass partitions mirrored the quality of the cars, complemented the new showroom and enhanced the efficiency of the office.
The architect was very specific with the brief and required concealed, frameless glass partitions to encase the offices for the sales team and more.

Glass partitions are ideal for car showrooms because they provide a professional finish and open plan feel, without compromising on privacy. As the aim of a car showroom is to sell cars, it was essential that the offices were inviting to customers and created a welcoming atmosphere. The glass partitions gave a clear view for employees to see customers upon entry, with the option of privacy when working due to the frosted glass manifestation.
Glass Partition Project:
Applied Workplace supplied and installed 66LM of our 12mm Quartzline frameless glass partitioning at 3,000mm high with concealed head and floor tracks. We executed this difficult task by building the glass partition tracks within the floor and were pleased with the results. The project included sliding magnet glass doors, installing a frameless glass operable wall and a 60-minute fire rated glass viewing window.
Attention to detail were key factors in this installation to match that of the iconic brand that it was built for. To achieve such a high level of finish Applied Workplace worked closely alongside the main contractor, architect and end user.
The project was completed on time and within budget, and Aston Martin were thrilled with the results!
