Materialise

Applied Workplace were invited by Materialise, a company based in Southampton Science Park to complete a full office wall partition design and build. Planning was the key with this project in order to utilise the space effectively. During the design process, directors of the business worked closely with the Materialise project manager to create a space which worked for their business with glass office and solid partitions.

The final design included the supply and installation of a large breakout area complete with bespoke ply finished solid partitions, tea point and feature lighting. We also supplied and installed 43 linear meters of Quartzline glass partitions and 35 linear meters of 75mm demountable partitions.

As part of the concept we designed and built a raised stage area to form a relaxation sofa area, and built a large store room with solid partitions, complete with a bespoke ply cladding and concealed door.

Applied Workplace also carried out all the M&E installation working alongside the incumbent M&E contractors.

Working in a tight time frame, Applied Workplace managed to complete the installation of office partition systems on time and in budget.
